Children’s curious investigations seem to be a more positive learning experience for the child and builds trust in the parent. It is recalled/remembered with greater detail.


If you don’t know the answer, look it up. Show them how you go about finding information that you don’t already know.

Do this as often as possible.


Don’t have time in the moment, keep a journal of questions for them to add to and return to the book when time allows.

The curious mind is yearning to be nourished, eagerly desiring understanding.

Organic enquiries that have been satisfied, repetitively, answered with encouragement creates a life long learner.
